Beulah Williams

Beulah Lynn Baptiste Williams was born December 6, 1948. Her passing was Monday, June 26, 2023.  Daughter of the late Samuel Lloyd Baptiste and Beulah Howard Baptiste.  Granddaughter of the late Harry Baptiste and Edna Davis Baptiste, Will T. Howard and Carrie Bright Howard.  Mother of Alicika L. Williams of Independence, LA and Demond Williams; the proud mentor parents of Anita L. and Will A. Hamilton Jr.  Grandmother of Aliyah LeBlanc and Zariyah Colbert.  Beloved sister of Naomi B. Hamilton, Samuel Lloyd Baptiste Jr.  Sister-in-law of Robert Williams (Ernestine), Dr. John Forman (Ora(deceased).  She was preceded in death by her parents Samuel Lloyd Baptiste and Beulah Howard Baptiste, Grandparents Henry Baptiste and Edna Davis Baptiste, Will T. Howard and Carrie Bright Howard and nephew Samuel Lloyd Baptiste III.  She was a Philo friend of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Epsilon Sigma Chapter. 

Relatives, friends, also pastor, officers and members of Rising Star Baptist Church, St. Matthew Baptist Church, Greater Good Hope Baptist Church and all neighboring churches. Mary McCloud Bethune High School (Class of 1969), K-Mart Associates, Davita Dialysis (Milling), Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Epsilon Sigma Chapter Philo friends are invited to attend Lynn’s Celebration of Life Services on Friday, July 14, 2023, at House of Prayer Baptist Church, 900 Terrace Street, New Sarpy, LA beginning at 8:30 am.  Pastor Edgar Joseph officiating.  Church visitation 7:30 am until service time.  Interment Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Slidell, Louisiana.
