Geneva Lewis Robertson

Geneva Lewis Robertson was called home on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at the age of 88. She was born on February 6, 1936 to the late Roman and Pearl Lewis. Geneva was the wife of the late Samuel M. Robertson; mother of Juan (Monica) Ferdinando, Keith Robertson, Troy (Carol) Robertson, Samueletta (Charlie) Johnson, Karen Robertson, Dionne (Robert) Fouchea and the late Darren Robertson and Rhonda Robertson; sister of Letha Lewis and the late Alean, Robert and James Lewis; also survived by 25 grandchildren, a host of great and great great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Geneva was a graduate of Walter L. Cohen Senior High School, class of 1954. She later attended Sidney Collier Community College for cosmetology and became a hair stylist. She worked for Orleans Parish School Food Service where she retired. Geneva was a member of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board. Geneva was also a member of Martha Grand Chapter Order of Eastern. Geneva was loved and known by many and will be missed tremendously. Relatives and friends of the family also pastor, officers and members of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church; Officers and Members of Martha Grand Chapter Order of Eastern Star, Grand Amaranth Court, King Solomon Palace and Friendship Chapter No. 25 and Alumni of Walter L. Cohen High School are invited to attend the Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 13, 2024 beginning 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, 3219 Danneel Street, Pastor C.J. Arvie, officiating. Church visitation from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment Providence Park Cemetery.
