Joyce Marie West

Queen Joyce Marie Wells West was born on February 8, 1941, and passed on May 28,2023. She retired with 33 years of service as a Recreational Therapist at Charity Hospital. After retiring she worked at United Medical Rehabilitation Center for 7 years. She was a member of Greater St. Stephen Full Gospel Baptist Church. The daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Morgan and Hattie Wells. She is survived by Son Robert Lee West III, Daughter in law Malinda West, Grandchildren, Robert Lee West IV, Roleria West, Roshika West, Roshad West, Sister of Audrey Mae Wells Ballard, Niece L'Tanya Wells Ballard Banks, Great Niece A'mon T'je Ballard, Great Nephew Kaleb Malik Banks, Rashid Malik Banks and a host of relatives and friends.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at Littlejohn Funeral Home, 2163 Aubry Street beginning at 10 am.  Parlor visitation 9 am until service time.  Interment Carrollton Cemetery.
