Lauren Bush

Lauren Bush, age 76, entered peacefully into eternal rest at Ochsner Medical Center on Monday, October 28, 2024. She was a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Gretna, LA. Lauren graduated from San Fernando Valley High School. She was employed by the Jefferson Parish School System. Devoted mother of Algin Works Jr. (Maria) and Alphonso Smith (Valina). Sister of Donna Mason (Tyrone), Junasts Bush and Trena Harris. Also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Relatives and friends, also pastor, officers and members of Greater Providence Baptist Church are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, November 9, 2024 beginning 10:00 am at Greater Providence Baptist Church, 623 Newton Street, New Orleans, LA , Rev. Javonte W. Jimcoily, pastor officiating. Church visitation 9:00 am until service time. Interment Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery, 9820 Nine Mile Point Road, Westwego, LA 70094.
