Thelma R. Parish, of New Orleans, LA went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 27, 2024 at the age of 77. Beloved wife of the late Nathaniel Parish Jr.; Mother of Nathaniel Parish III, Demond Parish (Allaneica) Bryant Parish (Latoya), Felicia Parish and Crystal Parish; Sister of Celestin Richardson, Minnie Richardson, Dorothy Richardson, Joyce Watkins, Josephine Rankins, Henry Richardson, Hollywood Richardson, Linda Jefferson and Bobbielee Halyer; also survived by twenty grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Thelma is preceded in death by her loving parents, Hollywood and Hilda Mae Richardson; Sisters, Barbara Victor, Delores Howard, Lindagale and Gaye Burkett; Brother, Howard Richardson; two children, Vanessa Parish and Lamont Parish; two grandchildren, Keith Parish and Chris Parish. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Friday, October 11, 2024 at Littlejohn Funeral Home, 2163 Aubry Street beginning 10:00 a.m. Rev. Kenneth Bell, officiating.
